Over all effects of Hard working like shooting and travelling continuously finally caught up with Katrina Kaif. Day before yesterday ( i.e. March 17), the actress collapsed on the sets of Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ in Malshej Ghat. The unit, including her co-star Akshay Kumar, got very worried, since they were shooting in a place without proper medical facilities. So a doctor from Mumbai was called in to check up on Katrina.

Apparently, Katrina was given a saline drip and told to take complete rest. It turned out that the actress had fainted because of low blood pressure; the extreme heat in the location also contributed to her feeling weak. Add the stress of work – a series of movie and advertisement shoots in different locations – and it’s a recipe for ill health.

We hope Katrina takes it easy, and gets back to being completely fit real soon.It has been noted that in the recent past Katrina getting suffered from many like this one. So lets all hope she cures fully and get back to her work.

While Oscar winning director James Cameron was in the country recently for a conclave Asin was the lucky actress to have met him. She was present at the conclave to represent the industry’s youth and speak on the subject of Reality v/s Idealism. She got the opportunity speak to him at length during the evening that followed.

Reveals a source present, “Asin and James were both present to bring in Aamir‘s birthday and they had a great time. Aamir even joked to Asin asking her to put a single candle on his cake as opposed to 45 of them. They had a quiet dinner together and discussed cinema and the likes. James Cameron even pulled Asin’s leg to the extent that James was asking her for her autograph throughout the evening.”

We come to hear that Asin being the great conversationalist that she is, jokingly asked the world’s renowned director if he wanted to break into Bollywood to which the witty director replied, “Sure, why not but on one condition, no song and dance for me in my movie”

Elder sister Karishma Kapoor delivered a baby boy this week that became the news of celebration for entire Kapoor Khandaan Kareena Kapoor who is in relationship with beau Saif Ali Khan said that from all the Khans in industry, she had chosen the safest one.

When asked that of all the Khans, which one she prefers the most, to which the actress replied, All are really different. As, Shahrukh is like a family to her, while she and beau Saif shares a great friendship with ‘Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan. Meanwhile, sister Karishma Kapoor is fond of Salman Khan. Bollywood mighty star Aamir Khan and Avatar director James Cameron may work together soon as both showed keen interest to work with each other after their meeting. The duo met at the The India Today Conclave 2010, whose theme was ‘New Decade: Great Expectations’ on March 13. Held at The Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi, the session was chaired by editor in chief of the India Today , Aroon Purie.

The event was attended by the creme de la creme of society, all eager to hear what the two trend setting filmmakers had to say about The Future of Cinema. Taking about Aamir Cameron said, “I am honoured to be sharing the stage with Aamir Khan. He is on top of his game and it is his birthday tomorrow and he chose to attend the session with me foregoing his birthday, so I consider that a great honour.”The perfectionist star also admired Cameron’s cinema though he himself has never been part of any Hollywood film.

To this comment, Cameron quickly retorted: “We could fix that as soon as possible.”  Aamir Khan also rued about the fact that the fact that Bollywood is technologically far behind Hollywood. “I find that Hollywood spends so much time and effort on research and development, which we lack in India. I have always wanted to go to L.A. and learn the techniques of special effects.

Maybe someday I could visit your studio and you could show me what you’ve done with Avatar,” told Aamir.

But I love being back in this city,” she says after a long schedule for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Anjaana Anjaani with director Siddharth  Anand and actor Ranbir Kapoor in New York. The actress loved the long flight back home and slept through it. And when she returned, she wants to work again.

“Work is my drive. I have been working like an insane person. Why don’t we have 36 hours?” says the actress who knows how to handle and work and sleep and then go ahead with her sleep when she is free.

Its not very common to see the Beautiful Aishwarya rai  at the audio release of a film. But the occasion was special here as it was the audio launch of Tamil film “Rettachuzhi” produced by Shankar, who is directing her in “Endhiran: The Robot”. Aishwarya looked ravishing as ever in a white saree at Sathyam Cinemas Monday evening in chennai.

“When we explained to her the significance of ‘Rettachuzhi’ and the cast of the film, she immediately agreed. It’s not just her beauty but her commitment towards her profession, which has made her a great actress,” said Shankar who was obviously thrilled to have her at the occasion.

Ash released the audio cassettes and CDs of “Rettachuzhi” which were accepted by noted lyricist Vairamuthu. Ash had once been described by Vairamuthu as a “Taj Mahal weighing 50 kilograms” in one of his lyrics for the film “Jeans”.

The fans were elated when Ash spoke in fluent Tamil and later switched backed to English. “It’s an honour for me to have been present at this place among legends like Balachander and Bharathiraaja and I feel proud about it. I also feel happy that a woman is treated so respectfully at a public function like this,” she said.

“I can never forget the Tamil film industry and director Shankar in my life. Shankar’s ‘Jeans’ was my first successful film. The many things I learnt during the making of the film gave me enough self-confidence that I could continue to act for a few more years.

“I feel even more proud to be part of Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’ opposite superstar Rajnikanth…I watched a few songs and some sequences from ‘Rettachuzhi’…I think Karthick Raaja’s music and tunes are excellent. I would surely watch the film in future,” she added.
