Rajnikanth has come back after a long exile from his illness. He had been hospitalised in singapore following an attack of allergic bronchitis. After recovering from his illness, did a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra-one. And now he is all set to appear in a government ad campaign against malnutrition.
A recent study stated that the mortality rate among Indian children is high due to malnutrition, which is why the government decided to spread awareness on the subject through an ad campaign. Sources say that Aamir Khan has also been roped in for the initiative, which will advocate the eradication of malnutrition. Not only will banners of the stars campaigning for the cause be put up across the nation, but the duo will also participate in promotions throughout the country.
Though Rajinikanth has refrained from doing commercials, he agreed to this campaign as it deals with an issue that concerns the welfare of the people.
Not to forget, in the 80s, Rajni participated in an Ad campaign to eradicate polio. !!!
