Sharukh and Gauri had been married for the last 19 years but with every passing day, King Khan’s love for his better-half multiplies. He feels privilege to have a wife like Gauri who looks after him and his children with so affectionately. He pours his heart out in an interview and reveals that he can’t think one day without Gauri. He is thankful to God that he has blessed him with such a lovely family with whom he can shares his sorrow and happiness, failure and success.

“I think God has been really kind to me. I treasure my family without whom I would not be who I am today. They have sacrificed for me and they are the reason why I love going back home. For me, success is very important but being successful along with having a great family is necessary. You need to share your success with your family because it is not just for you that you are working,” Shahrukh tells.

To him, Gauri is his pillar of strength. “I can’t imagine one day without Gauri. I have crazy working schedules through the year and I know how much effort she puts in to look after our home, our kids and even me. I rely on her for everything. She is the reason why we have a good, happy and healthy family. Gauri is a fine mother as I can see her imparting crucial values to my children,” Khan says.

King Khan adds, “I believe parenting is the toughest job in the world as it is parents who shape how their children will grow up to be. A mother’s role is very important as she is the closest to the child. When I look at my children, I feel safe that Gauri pays so much attention to them. I’m surprised how she has everything planned and how she knows what we need all the time. When I’m all over the place, I fall back upon Gauri. She touches everything about my life,” he ends.

Shahrukh is not only a superstar but he is a super hubby and a loving dad.

The latest news of bollywood is that Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movies ‘Ra.1′ and ‘DON 2′ is going to be made with huge budget of Rs.300 Crore. Sharukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘DON 2′ is going to be made with Rs.125 Crores and ‘Ra.1′ is of Rs.150 Crore.

‘Ra.1′ is an upcoming bollywood movie, this movie is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor will play the lead roles.

‘Don 2′ is a upcoming bollywood movie, where Shahrukh Khana and Priyankha Chopra is acting in lead roles. This movie is directed by Farhan Akhtar and was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

If everything goes right then Aamir will be working with ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ director Danny Boyle’s produced ‘Bombay Velvet’ to be helmed by Anurag Kashyap.

Aamir confirmed that he has been offered a role in Danny Boyle’s next ‘Bombay Velvet’ but said that he is currently involved with his home production ‘Peepli Live’ right now.

Industry insiders say that again it might be SRK’s loss and Aamir’s gain as there are rumours that SRK was offered this script before, it must be recalled that SRK didn’t do Raju Hirani’s helmed ‘ 3 Idiots’ due to some reasons and later the role was offered to Aamir and the rest is history.

In fact for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ SRK was offered the role which was later bagged by Anil Kapoor.

‘Bombay Velvet’ is based on a series of real life city based stories. Everybody is waiting for the final nod from the perfectionist Aamir.

Superstar of bollywood Shah Rukh Khan will deliver a keynote address at the opening session of Ficci-Frames 2010 beginning in Mumbai from March 16. Katrina Kaif will also be present at the inauguration for lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Global Convention on the Business of Entertainment will be held from 16-18 March, 2010.

Chief minister AshokChavan, ministry of information and broadcasting secretary Raghu Menon, James Nicholas Gianopulos, chairman and CEO, Fox Filmed Entertainment, Dutch mainstream actress Victoria Koblenko and FICCI Entertainment Committee chairman Yash Chopra are the other speakers at the opening session.

About 30 sessions covering the entire gamut of media and entertainment like films, TV broadcast, digital entertainment, animation, gaming, visual effects and radio etc have been scheduled during the three-day deliberations, a press release issued here today said.

Worlds one of the famous The ‘Smack That’ singer Akon is on a three-day visit to Mumbai to compose and record a song for SRK’s ‘Ra 1’ and Shahrukh is leaving no stones unturned to give the singer a very warm welcome. Akon got a traditional Indian welcome from Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor during a press meet in Mumbai on Tuesday. It is notable that Akon has also worked with A R Rahman on the album Freedom is Beautiful.

Asked whether he plans to work with other artists too, Akon replied, “I have worked extensively in America and after America, India will be my next big focus because I have got so much support here. Soon you will see me working with other groups too. I am planning a world tour and hopefully we will have a number of shows in India.”

For Ra One, I will be composing and singing a song. I will also appear in it. I want to give Shah Rukh different versions of the same song to choose from,” he added. Again, SRK hosted a bash at JW Marriot for Akon. It was Gauri Khan who approved the guest list and insiders have it that the Morani brothers, who organised the party, were specifically told to leave out Farah’s and her husband Shirish Kunder’s names. However, as soon as Khan became aware of this blunder, he told Moranis to invite Farah, but it was too late by then.

The party had glittering celeb list including Sherlyn Chopra, Riya Sen, Poonam Dhillon, Claudia Ciesla, Aarti Chhabria, Gauhar Khan, Anushka Manchanda, Sonal Chauhan, Rannvijay Singh, Madhu, Gaurav Chopra and Vidhu Dara Singh among others.

According to press release from the producers of ‘My Name is Khan’, Karan Johar directed and SRK starrer film ‘My Name Is Khan’ has managed to earn 150 crores in just 10-days after its release in India and abroad. This happened despite the fact that MNIK’s collections dropped below 40 percent over the weekend, especially in single-screen theatres.

The films collections were effected due to Shiv Sena’s protests also. “MNIK has exceeded trade expectations and is doing a brisk business worldwide,” said Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst.The SRK movie so far has successfully managed to generate 60 percent of revenue in India while global market contributed 40 percent.

The distributor of MNIK has managed to earn around 35 crores till now. Riding high on film’s overseas success, the distributors are planning to release it in other international centers like Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt.So its great about the industry and SRK as well.

Bollywood super star Sharukh khans’ latest movie MNIK is turning out to be a box office dynamo not just at home but abroad as well. In its opening weekend only, the movie is likely to have raked in close to Rs. 40 crore. Only a few movies in Bollywood, particularly the ones starring Aamir Khan, have managed to get such a mammoth opening at ticket windows. In North America, the film broke the record for the highest earning Hindi film in the opening weekend, making an estimated $ 1.86 million.

My name is khan, distributed by the Fox Searchlight and directed by Karan Johar, managed an average of $15,500 from each of the 120 theatres across the United States and Canada over a three-day weekend. The maximum earning came on Saturday, but the collections dipped a bit on Sunday due to Valentine’s Day. However, Monday being a holiday in the US (President’s Day) the film is expected to touch the $2 million mark.

Considering the sweeping reviews the film has got from critics worldwide, trade pundits are hopeful that the film might make Rs. 100 crore by the end of its first week’s run. Definitely, SRK, K-Jo and Kajol must be delighted. In india too its one of the major hit of the year.

Bollywood’s super star Shahrukh Khan is finally in the  enjoyment of  his  much-anticipated film ‘My Name is Khan’ in the city. The actor freshly went through a tough time in the wake of his remarks about Pakistani cricketers. Ask him what allows him to sail through such situations, and he says, “I’m thankful to the media for being there by my side all the time. I’m also thankful to all my friends. Some of them have voiced their opinion about the issue and some didn’t because they did not want to throw more attention to this sensitive issue. I thought that was prudent.”

The actor remains committed to his goal of helping sports. He says, “The culture for choosing sports as a career option is still not there in India. I want to build a world-class stadium. I had even spoken to the late Sunil Dutt saab about it. We can encourage people to take up sports as a career only if there’s great infrastructure. Like cricket, I’m sure if we have great plans for other sports even they will get the same spotlight.”

Shah Rukh is also planning to construct a podium just inside the gate of his house Mannat.He says, “I get so much love and affection from people who come to see me, especially on my birthday. I was thinking hard that I should have a podium-like thing on my veranda where I can get up and sing or dance for them just to entertain them. They come from distant places. So simply waving out to them is not enough.”
